Context
Iberdrola, a leading energy provider in Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal, wanted to strengthen its digital presence across multiple markets. The goal was to deliver a coherent user experience while promoting sustainable energy solutions and innovative services, tailored to individual and business customers.

Challenge
The goal was to unify Iberdrola’s digital platforms across different countries while respecting local cultural and linguistic differences. Each service had to be intuitive, functional, and accessible for diverse user groups, including electric vehicle owners, individual customers, and business clients, without losing brand consistency.
Solution
Garaje de Ideas redesigned multiple digital platforms to improve usability and engagement:
- Design of an inclusive electric charging app, making it easier for all users to locate and access charging stations.
- Development of a personalized customer portal, designed for individuals, offering simplified management of energy contracts and services, with a seamless experience.
- Creation of a platform dedicated to professionals, enabling them to manage all charging infrastructure and access consumption data in real time.
- Redesign of an online management tool, optimizing daily use thanks to an intuitive, faster interface that does not require prior registration.
Design principles from Iberdrola’s system were implemented to ensure a consistent, cohesive experience across all services and countries. The redesign strengthened brand positioning, enhanced personalization, and supported the company’s sustainability mission.
