The target was to design a campaign that could reach the right audience segments - home and décor shoppers aged 25-59, promotion seekers - while measuring the impact of messaging variations and ensuring minimal advertising fatigue on Conforama’s proprietary database.
Solution
Dataventure implemented a comprehensive SMS campaign leveraging data and testing methodologies:
- SMS OneClick: Simple SMS containing a unique short URL to track click behavior.
- Data & Targeting: Audience selection based on 25-59 year-olds with interest in furniture/decor and promotions, using a combination of internal databases and third-party data providers.
- A/B Testing: Two message versions sent to evaluate the impact of wording.
- Acquisition: Expanded reach by targeting non-clients for new customer acquisition.
Performance Highlights:
- 300K SMS sent during two key sales periods.
- 35% average click-through rate (CTR), well above sector average.
- €0.6 average e-CPC, delivering high ROI.
- 50% new sessions, 10K total sessions, 3.9 pages per session, and 2:57 minutes average time on site.
